After you finish lectures you…*
- Go home to ponder ‘what is law’ and deconstruct its purpose.
- Hit the library, type up your notes and create a revision schedule 6 months in advance to beat the competition.
- Get to work on your voluntary and pro-bono society work; there are a lot of people that need your help!
- Log on to LinkedIn and connect with your lecturer, then connect with all his/her connections.
- Persuade some of your friends to go down the pub with you, have a nap, go out for the law club social.

If you were a coffee…*
- You’d obviously be an espresso - succinct and successful.
- Irish Coffee – that’s got whisky in it, right?
- An Americano - you buy at least ten for all your lecture friends.
- Flat White – it’s sophisticated and gives you just enough time to breeze through Hobbes’s Leviathan.
- It has to be Fair Trade, organic and lacto-free or you’ll just have water.

Your dress sense…*
- A variation of your favourite three-piece suits – black, grey, blue.
- The first thing you see in your wardrobe (or your bedroom floor) when you wake up.
- Depends on who you are meeting with – you always have to know your audience.
- Chinos.
- Something you picked up the other day from your local charity shop.

Next month’s assessment is a class presentation – what topic do you choose to discuss?*
- That’s easy - the commercial impact that LawTech will have on traditional law firm structures.
- How to build your personal brand using LinkedIn and other social media platforms – you have this live streamed for your followers.
- You can’t plan that far in advance!
- The current status of the European migrant crisis.
- A critical evaluation of the English judicial system – quoting Lord Denning like poetry, of course.

Your hobbies include…*
- Volunteering for worthwhile causes today to hopefully save the world tomorrow.
- Sport, debating or anything competitive where you can show you ARE the best.
- Academic legal writing – you’re just waiting to get published.
- SOCIALS !!! But on a quiet day you’ll settle for the pub.
- You enjoy networking events where you can expand your ever-growing connections.

How do you prepare for your lessons/seminar?*
- Wikipedia has all the ‘important’ information.
- You know the student that was top of the class last year and use his/her notes.
- You supplement your reading with real life voluntary and pro-bono clinic work.
- You prepare two weeks in advance – that way you have enough time to complete the extra reading section.
- You complete the essential reading and then focus on the commercial modules.

Where do you want to start your career?*
- Lecturer in a university – so you can continue to publish articles and teach your next protégé.
- Large commercial law firm – somewhere you can make a lot of money.
- Human rights boutique firm or an NGO – somewhere you can really make a difference.
- Not sure yet, you’ll probably take some time off before diving into a career and do some travelling.
- You will have too many options once you finish your education – you’ll choose the best recommendation.

Your favourite law modules are…*
- You’re indifferent – you’re more about the people that you meet and law school is an investment for the future.
- Jurisprudence – you really want to understand the foundations of the law.
- Human rights law – you can recite the UN Declaration of Human Rights backwards.
- Company law – you like the business side of law.
- Whichever one isn’t scheduled for a 9am start – you’re not a morning person.

If you were a monopoly square, which would you be?*
- In Jail – you didn’t really pay attention in law school and thought tax evasion was legal…oops.
- Mayfair – you’re making the big bucks and have the mansion to show for it.
- In Jail Just Visiting – you’re willing to give your time to try to help those who were wrongfully committed.
- Chance – you’re willing to take a risk that may or may not pay off.
- Free Parking – you’re just there to observe and analyse.

- Reading, digesting and analysing statutes and case law judgments.
- Using your skills to solve problems for clients at your local law clinic.
- Understanding how commercial entities can use the law to improve their profitability.
