What To Expect
Is Aspire right for me?
The Lawyer Portal’s Aspire event is principally aimed at students at Sixth Form college or in their last year of secondary school (eg 15 to 18 years old), who are considering a career in law.
It’s a valuable opportunity to explore different routes into the legal profession, helping you to make an informed decision about your future.

TLP Aspire is taking place on October 24th, 2023 from 10 am to 2pm. The event will be hosted at The Law Society, 113 Chancery Ln, London WC2A 1PL. Lunch is not included.
Inspiring Guest Speakers
Hear from esteemed guest speakers, including top law firms Clifford Chance and Charles Russell Speechlys and discover opportunities to break into the legal profession. I’m at uni – will this be useful?
It may well be. Aspire is principally focused on different pathways into a legal career – which includes postgraduate courses and training contracts straight after university.
Is the conference in person or online?
This year’s TLP Aspire is an in-person event.
Can parents/guardians attend?
Yes! We encourage parents or guardians to attend the conference, though they will need their own ticket. If you are under 16 years old, you must have a guardian present.
What happens when I book?
You’ll receive a confirmation email after booking and a reminder email with more details nearer the time.
